Statement of Work Template – Project Manager
A statement of work (SoW) is a comprehensive document that outlines the objectives, deliverables, scope, budget and tasks for a project.
This document serves as an important part of project planning and management, as it ensures that everyone involved in the project understands it’s requirements and expectations. A SoW can also act as a contractual agreement between a client and a service provider.
Typically, a SoW includes the following:
- Introduction
- Description of project objectives
- Scope of work
- Details of project budget
- A list of deliverables produced by the project
- The schedule of completion for the project
- A list of the personnel involved with the project along with their responsibilities
- Assumptions and constraints
- Risk management concerns
