There are 4 different ways to register a previously unregistered employee:

Via i-Akaun (Employer)

• This option is available for Malaysian and permanent resident employees who have identification cards with 7 and 12 digits only. Login to your i-Akaun and click on Register EPF Member.

Auto Registration via Monthly Contribution Form (Form A)

• Previously unregistered employees will be automatically registered once included in Form A. This option is only applicable to Malaysian and permanent resident employees since MyKad details are required.

Form KWSP 3

• You can register at the nearest EPF counter or via mail, by providing the following forms and documents:

Employee with MyKad

• This option requires the employee to be physically present at the EPF counter where registration will be done using the MyKad chip. Again this option is applicable only for Malaysian and permanent resident employees.

Employers can register a previously unregistered employee through four different methods:

To register an employee via i-Akaun, log in to your i-Akaun, and select “Register EPF Member.” 

This option is available only for Malaysian and permanent resident employees with identification cards containing either 7 or 12 digits.

Registration via Form A automatically registers employees when included in the form. 

This option is applicable solely to Malaysian and permanent resident employees since MyKad details are required.

You can register an employee using Form KWSP 3 either at the nearest EPF counter or by post. 

Required forms and documents need to be provided for this registration method and include MyKad and Form KWSP 3 for Malaysians and residents. 

For non-Malaysians, Passport or a Valid Work Permit/ visa, Form KWSP 16B, and Form KWSP 3 are required.

For employees with MyKad, the registration process involves the employee being physically present at the EPF counter, where registration is conducted using the MyKad chip.
